The Championships |
|
The 44th PABF Championships will be played concurrently in three
series: Open, Ladies and Seniors.
The Open (12 teams) and Ladies (11 teams) teams consists of a double
round robin of 20 boards per round
without any playoff and final. The team with the highest number of
Victory Points at the end of the 2nd round robins will be declared the
Gold Medalist for the Rebullida Cup and the Ckittakachorn Cup
respectively.
The Senior (14 teams) teams consists of
a double
round robin of 14 boards per round without any playoff and
final. The team with the highest number of Victory Points at the end of
the 2nd round robins will be declared the Gold Medalist for the PABF
Senior Cup.
The
Victory Dinner and Prize Presentation
will be on Wednesday 30 August 2006 at 19:00.

Condition of Entry |
|
The Championships are open to all PABF NBO member.
Each team consists of 4-6 players, a non-playing captain, the coach, and
any other officials.
Each NBO shall be entitled to nominate at one
team for the Rebullida Cup, one
team for the Ckittakachorn Cup, and up to a
maximum of four teams for the PABF
Senior Cup. The 2nd to the 4th team may be transnational teams.
Confirmation of such nomination must be made by
15 July 2006.

Age Limitation
for participants in the PABF Seniors Cup
Each player shall attain at
least 57 years of age during the calendar year 2006 i.e. shall have been
born in or before 1949.

System |
|
The
WBF Systems Policy,
adopted by the PABF, forms part of these Conditions of Contest. No HUM
system is permitted. Brown Sticker conventions are allowed for the
Rebullida Cup, Ckittakachorn Cup and PABF Senior Cup, but NOT permitted
for the PABF Open Pairs. Note that psyches protected by system and
classified as Brown Sticker Conventions, and psyche of conventional and
artificial openings are prohibited.
Each pair is required to complete an
official Convention Card and e-mail
to the organising committee before 23 July, 2006.
